The SERIES JC is ideal for replacement of older hot water or steam boilers in large residential or commercial building or for new construction.  Composed of one or more modules, with input ranges from 300,000 to 2,500,000 BTUH the option to step-fire individual modules delivers the fuel efficiency expected.  The ease of field-assembled installation provides the perfect solution when a large packaged unit's impractical.  All components fit through a standard doorway.  Space requirements are small, and installation time is short.

CAST-IRON SECTIONS FACTORY-TESTED FOR RELIABILITY

 Individual sections are subject to two water test before leaving our plant.  A 250 lb. water test is first performed on the individual sections, followed by a 150 lb. test on each two-section pair.  The elimination of potential time-consuming problems in the field saves you time, worry, and money.

 

PRE-ASSEMBLED BURNER-BASE UNITS SPEED INSTALLATION

Three basic burner and base unit combinations are furnished pre-assembled, with gas valve, pilots, and burner positioned for quick and simple installation.  Each unit is individually fire-tested at the factory before shipment.  Precision-made, heavy gauge aluminized steel burners assure exceptionally quiet and efficient fuel combustion.

 

NEW UNITIZED CONSTRUCTION MAKES ASSEMBLY EASIER; MODULAR FLEXIBILITY PERMITS LOAD SELECTION

Series JC boilers are designed with the installer in mind.  short draw rods are used to assemble the boiler sections, assuring a unit that is free of stress and strain.  This method simplifies proper nipple positioning and reduces installation time.  Combination of boiler sections, bases, and flue collectors allow multiple-unit hook-ups that precisely match each individual job heating requirement.  This assures maximum operating efficiency and minimum consumption.

WHY MULTIPLE MAKES MORE SENSE

Series JC's individual boiler bases can be sequenced to fire according to the changing outdoor conditions and heating load.  As the heating load increases, the number of bases fired increases proportionately, and conversely, decreases when load decreases.  Which means, in terms of energy, you use only what you need to meet full- or part-load demand requirements. Nothing more.  Thermal and standby losses are also dramatically reduced, increasing overall seasonal efficiency.  By comparison, a single large boiler is either fully on or fully off- operating intermittently and inefficiently for short cycles throughout most of the heating season, rarely reaching maximum performance and full-load efficiencies.

DUAL THERMAL FLOW SPEEDS HEAT TRANSFER AND SAVES ON FUEL!

The outside walls of each cast-iron section have hundreds of staggered, heat-absorbing studs.  The hot flueway gases pass around and between these projecting surfaces, providing rapid and highly effective heat transfer to the boiler water.  Numerous baffles inside the sections agitate the circulating water so that it heats faster and more uniformly.  Cast iron resists rust and corrosion and hold heat longer, even during the "off cycle."  This extra measure of heat retention makes the Series JC boiler amazingly economical to operate.

 

WORRY-FREE DEPENDABILITY

With a Series JC multiple system, you never have to worry about total system shutdown.  Each module can operate completely independent of the others and can be serviced, when necessary, without compromising systems operation or efficiency.
